Senior officers of the State Government, distinguished guests, members of the Telangana community residing in Haryana, ladies and gentlemen!
It is a matter of great pride and honour for me to be present at this joyous celebration of Telangana Formation Day. On behalf of the people of Haryana and on my own behalf, I extend warm and heartfelt greetings to all the citizens of Telangana on this 12th Statehood Anniversary.
The formation of Telangana on 2nd June 2014 marked the realization of the democratic aspirations of millions of people. Since its inception, Telangana has emerged as one of India’s most dynamic and progressive States, making notable strides in agriculture, information technology, infrastructure development, education, healthcare and industrial growth.
Telangana’s rich cultural heritage, reflected in its language, literature, arts, festivals and traditions, has greatly enriched India’s civilizational heritage. The spirit of hard work, innovation and resilience displayed by its people has transformed the State into a leading contributor to the nation’s economic growth and technological advancement.
Haryana and Telangana share a deep bond of national unity. Though separated by geography, both states are united by a common commitment to development, the welfare of farmers and youth, and the progress of every citizen. Both the states contributing significantly to India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation under the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
As we celebrate Telangana Day, we also reaffirm the enduring strength of India’s federal structure, where every State contributes uniquely to the progress of the nation while preserving its distinct cultural identity.
On this auspicious occasion, let us renew our commitment to the ideals enshrined in our Constitution and work collectively for peace, prosperity, social harmony and sustainable development. May the people of Telangana continue to achieve greater heights of success and contribute to the progress and glory of our nation.
I once again convey my heartfelt greetings to all the people of Telangana and wish them a future filled with prosperity, happiness and progress.
Jai Telangana! Jai Haryana! Jai Hind!
