. Esteemed Guests, Friends from Media, Ladies and Gentlemen!
. It is a matter of great pride to be present at the Naari Samman Samaroh organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Karn Shakha, Karnal, an initiative that truly reflects our collective commitment to honouring and uplifting women.
I am also reminded of the famous of statement of Michelle Obama, wife of former US President Barack Obama, that empowered women empower the world. No doubt, the progress of any society is deeply intertwined with the dignity, strength and opportunities afforded to its women.
. I am happy to share that both the Government of India and the Government of Haryana have undertaken significant initiatives aimed at women’s holistic empowerment.
Programmes such as Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, financial inclusion schemes and skill development missions have helped create new avenues for women to grow, lead and contribute meaningfully to society.
These efforts are not only transforming lives but also reshaping the socio-economic landscape of our nation.
. However, much remains to be done, especially for women from weaker and marginalized sections.
True empowerment will be realized only when every woman, irrespective of her background, has equal access to opportunities and a voice in decision-making processes.
Their active participation in governance, institutions and community leadership is essential for inclusive and balanced development.
Equally important is ensuring the dignity and security of women. A civilized and progressive society must guarantee that every woman feels safe, respected and valued – whether at home, in the workplace or in public spaces.
. Friends,
Education and skill development are the cornerstones of empowerment. We must ensure that quality and affordable education along with market-relevant skills are accessible to all women, enabling them to achieve financial independence and self-confidence.
Let us move forward with a shared resolve, not merely to celebrate women on such occasions but to stand beside them every single day as equal partners in progress.
The true measure of our society will be seen in how fearlessly our daughters dream, how confidently our women lead and how firmly their dignity is protected.
Together, let us build a Haryana, and an India where every woman rises with pride, lives with security and contributes with full potential to the nation’s growth. The time for intent has passed. The time for collective action is now.
Thank You! Jai Hind!
