Distinguished guests, representatives of PHDCCI Fashion Tech Forum and Fempreneur Rising Star, eminent women achievers, ladies and gentlemen!
It is a matter of immense honour to be present among you today on this beautiful occasion of Mother’s Day Felicitation Ceremony — a day not merely to honour the spirit of motherhood, but to celebrate womanhood, nurturing leadership and our collective reverence for the most powerful force that shapes humanity.
It is often said that behind every great nation stands a great mother. I would go further — a mother does not merely stand behind greatness; she builds it, brick by brick, from the very first day. A mother is a child’s first teacher, first doctor, first friend, and first leader. Before any school, institution, or mentor enters a child’s life, it is the mother who teaches love, resilience, discipline, and compassion.
Guru Rabindranath Tagore beautifully said –
“The one who plants trees, knowing that he will never sit in their shade, has at least started to understand the meaning of life.”
Just as Rabindranath Tagore so beautifully captured the essence of selfless giving, a mother plants the seeds of values, courage, and character in her children — seeds whose fruits she may never fully witness, yet she nurtures them with boundless love and devotion.
Today, we felicitate women achievers from different walks of life who have excelled in diverse fields through their dedication, perseverance and extraordinary accomplishments. I heartily congratulate all the awardees whose journeys of success serve as an inspiration to society and a source of pride for the nation.
    Ladies and Gentlemen
India’s journey towards development and progress cannot be completed without the full and meaningful participation of women. When a woman rises, a family rises. When a family rises, a community rises. And when communities rise, the nation rises.
Both the Central Government and the Government of Haryana are committed to women’s empowerment. In this journey, special focus must be placed on women from weaker and underprivileged sections of society. While the government is continuously working in this direction, organisations such as the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry should also join hands in creating opportunities and promoting entrepreneurship among such women.
To every woman being felicitated today — you are not just achievers; you are beacons of inspiration for millions of daughters who are quietly watching, learning, and daring to dream.
As I conclude, let us collectively pledge to build a society where every girl receives equal opportunity, every woman is empowered to realise her full potential, and every mother is honoured with the dignity and respect she so richly deserves.
I once again extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the women being honoured today. I also pay my deepest respects to every mother whose silent sacrifices and unconditional love continue to shape the future of our nation.
    Thank you! Jai Hind!
