. It is a privilege to be the Chief Guest at the prize distribution ceremony of the ‘The Jurists and Civil Services Golf Tournament-2026’ here at the Chandigarh Golf Association.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all participants for their spirited involvement and appreciate the organizers for hosting such a grand sporting event.

. Sports, as we all know, play a critical role in shaping not only physical fitness but also the mental and emotional strength of an individual.

For our jurists and members of India’s Steel Frame, who constantly operate under demanding and high-pressure conditions, engaging in sports like golf offers a refreshing avenue to rejuvenate the mind and body.

It instills discipline, patience, focus, and resilience, qualities that are equally essential in the line of duty.

. Such sporting engagements provide a new dimension to the overall personality of all those who are working day in and day out for the country’s development and common people’s ease of living.

If they are physically active and mentally refreshed, then they are better equipped to serve society with dedication, sensitivity and efficiency.

. Equally important is the spirit of camaraderie that events like this promote.

Bringing together key stakeholders, this tournament becomes more than just a competition.

It serves as a platform for meaningful interaction, exchange of ideas and sharing of experiences related to the goal of good governance, which hinges on the pillars of inclusion, justice and well-being of all.

These interactions also strengthen professional bonds and contribute to the collective growth of our law enforcement system.
