Dear students, respected teachers, parents, distinguished guests, and my young friends,

I am immensely pleased to be here today at the Annual Sports Event of Heritage Academy High School, at the iconic Sailen Manna Stadium. This occasion, as I feel, is not merely a celebration of physical excellence but a celebration of character, discipline and unity.

Sports play a vital role in shaping not just strong bodies but strong minds and compassionate hearts. When young people step onto the field, differences of background, language, region or economic status dissolve. What remains are teamwork, mutual respect, and a shared goal! In this way, sports become a powerful force for building a more well-knit and inclusive society.
My Dear Young Friends,

On the playground, we learn lessons that no textbook can fully teach, that is, how to accept victory with humility, how to face defeat with courage and how to stand by one another in moments of pressure. These values are essential not only for personal success but for strengthening the social fabric of our nation.

In a diverse country like India, inclusion is not an option. It is a necessity. Sports create equal opportunities, allowing every child to shine based on talent and effort, not privilege.
